About the Artist
I was born and raised in Redwood City, California. I graduated from Boise State University with a BFA in Visual Arts and an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. After graduating, I continued to create art and furthered my education in ceramics by taking courses at Saddleback College. I have been deeply inspired by the incredible professors I encountered throughout my academic journey. Each of them has instilled in me the belief that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. If it wasn’t for their support, I wouldn’t have been able to push my art to where it is today. My primary motivation for becoming an art educator is the desire to be that person for someone else. I am currently enrolled in the graduate teaching credential program at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I can’t wait to be an educator and help artists achieve their goals.
